Overview: Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed. The Release Train Engineer is responsible for the alignment and delivery of key product initiatives across multiple scrum teams with an eye toward continual improvement at team and release train levels.  This individual will plan and facilitate Program Increment planning and other key Release Train ceremonies, working across the organization to ensure cross-functional representation and participation.  The Release Train Engineer has excellent interpersonal skills, is an enthusiastic problem-solver, and will champion Agile and sAFE practices across the organization Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed

You Will:

  • Demonstrated strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership ability
  • Ability to work with, coach, and lead multiple teams
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding of all stages of the Agile software development process
  • Other Incidental tasks related to the job, as necessary
  • Establish cadence, facilitate and drive the agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Sprint Planning events
  • Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs)
  • Facilitate delivery across the release train for key product initiatives ensuring that delivered products meet Business and Product Owner objectives
  • Remove and/or Escalate impediments to progress, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Establish and act on metrics to ensure continuous improvement across the agile development lifecycle.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Solution Roadmaps and Program Vision
  • Guide the teams, leaders and Scrum Masters about the combination of Lean and Agile management practices and ideologies
  • Act as the team lead for the scrum masters of a particular Agile Release Train

You Have:

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience including having served as a Release Train Engineer


  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience) 


  • Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
  • Certified Scrum Master
