The OpportunityWe are looking for a dynamic, high-performing senior marketing analyst to lead and optimize the StraighterLine marketing technology stack and drive decisions through measurement of marketing activities.
What You'll DoThe Sr. Marketing Analyst occupies a thought leadership role in the measurement and analysis of digital marketing campaigns and a website/eCommerce platform targeting students. You will lead the analysis of all marketing campaigns and web-related activities.  This includes user response, website conversions, attrition rates, customer segmentation, lifetime value analysis, brand research, and site utilization. You initiate and produce marketing campaign reports and deliver and explain results to key stakeholders.

MarTech Operations and Zoho Administration

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Zoho CRM; Update and improve infrastructure for Lead Management and provide ongoing CRM compatibility support to marketing
  • Maintain and optimize core Zoho processes and other technology partner integrations
  • Find ways to optimize Martech tools and applications and understand integration opportunities to improve marketing efficiency
  • Work closely with business partners to assess, prioritize, and implement key projects which include large-scale digital events and Martech integrations.

Measurement, Reporting & Analysis

  • Build and analyze marketing reports and dashboards with insights that drive improvement in the business. 
  • Use visualization tools to layout findings for consumption at all levels of the organization.
  • Work in multiple data systems (internal and external if any) to map traffic data, channel data, transactional data, offline data, and/or any 2nd and 3rd party data to create a single view of the student. 
  • Analyze user behavior across devices (mobile, tablet, and desktop), marketing channels (Earned, Paid Search, Display, Direct, Social, Referrals) as well other customer segment dimensions. 
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define data tracking and reporting requirements for the company's website, external and internal marketing channels, and campaigns.
  • Interact with development teams to provide implementation and integration requirements for data tagging. 
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary to answer business questions to drive decisions.

What You Need To Succeed

  • At least five years’ experience working with Marketo Engage, HubSpot, Zoho or equivalent (within a hands-on administrative capacity) and a CRM – Salesforce or Zoho preferred
  • Demonstrable experience building and delivering analytic reports that drive business outcomes
  • A passion for marketing and a thirst to always test and learn. You love A/B testing and testing approaches along the buyer’s journey.
  • A growth mindset. You are constantly challenging the status quo to achieve a higher level of performance.
  • A strong understanding of marketing database management and the complexities of melding different data sets.
  • Experience creating Business Intelligence reports in Looker, Tableau, or a comparable tool. You love initiating reports based on your understanding of the business as well as managing ad hoc requests from your stakeholder team.
  • A minimum of two-to-three years of hands-on experience working with Google Analytics and other search optimization tools (like Moz)
  • Experience visualizing data to communicate analysis with stakeholders and have a preferred visualization platform you will recommend.
  • Awareness of the wider Digital Marketing space, including Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO & general Digital Marketing strategy. The ability to build multi-channel attribution reports is a bonus.
  • The ability to know your way around a spreadsheet - beyond simple data input, you’re well versed when it comes to basic data analysis. Use of Statistical tools a plus
