When a request for proposal or client brief lands, you’ll be the point of contact for our bid teams, and responsible for supporting, coordinating and driving forward our response process. Therefore, it's important you have a natural drive, have an understanding of the software development sales process and like taking ownership.

Negotiation skills will come in handy as you engage with subject matter experts (SME) and other individuals during the bid lifecycle. As we’re a growing agency, we often work on more than one proposal at a time. Therefore, balancing workloads, dealing with pressures and varying timelines shouldn’t phase you. However, we work as a team, and you’ll be supported by a host of experts.

In between proposal creation, you’ll be collating and managing our library of “good answers”, FAQs and operationalising the sales function, whilst always looking for ways to improve it. This could be with tooling which improves our response times, or by leveraging SME knowledge to augment our asset library.

As you grow in your knowledge of the business and our services, you will contribute to bids and develop into an instrumental part of the commercial function. Therefore, It’s important you enjoy a challenge, can creatively problem solve and have good writing skills.

Within this role, you will be responsible for: 

  •  Working with our commercial team to execute our bid strategy
  •  Facilitating and coordinating our bid processes
  •  Forming the bid teams with SMEs and keeping a rhythm in delivery
  • Escalating stalls in responses as required
  • Over time, get bids of the ground by adding relevant responses
  • Creating and maintaining a library of “Good Answers”
  • Developing libraries of existing responses
  • Proofreading for core values and tone of voice in responses
  • Developing an understanding of the projects we’ve delivered for customers and our service offerings
  • Identify and manage bid portals

Desirable

 

  • You have prior experience within a similar role
  • An understanding of the Fintech or Digital Health markets
  • Been on both sides of the table with tenders
  • Experience within a digital/mobile agency, technology specialists company
