About Your Role:  
Sendoso is seeking a highly ambitious individual who can help with our international expansion. We are increasing our international shipping capabilities.....We are growing....Fast. With that comes a lot of excitement and opportunity but also a lot of work! The Customs Trade Specialist role is for someone who has an interest in shipping and logistics and wants to gain experience and exposure within a start-up company and help shape the way the company works within the new European Market

Who You Are:

  • You are extremely organized and can manage time effectively
  • You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your work
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in shipping and logistics
  • You look for ways to improve processes
  • You have the ability to liaise with partners, customer support and other stakeholders
  • You have the ability to explain complex concepts simply
  • You have the ability to work independently with minimal instruction

Your Typical Day:

  • Work with the Logistics Team to ensure carrier contracts are in place and measured against KPI’s
  • Liaising with our shipping partners to maintain a high level of service for our customers
  • Reporting on shipment orders
  • Liaising with our customer support team to help maintain a high level of service for our customers and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Manage master data including HS codes within our shipping system
  • Support the Logistics team with ad-hoc tasks as required


  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Proven track record of working with customers or partners
  • Experience with international logistics: transportation, customs, classification of goods, and international regulation compliance
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently with individuals at all seniority levels
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals and project deadlines
  • Experience with ordering large volumes of merchandise and swag items
  • Experience with Tableau software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel) and/or Google Drive (Sheets, Slides).
  • Very good time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in data analysis and spreadsheet management

  • Certified Customs Specialist (CCS)
  • Tableau experience
  • SaaS experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma Qualification
