The Pipette Team at Amyris is looking for a Sr Manager, Sales & Education to join the team. This role will develop one-pagers, training programs, educational materials, and communication to aid our retailers in cultivating brand awareness and learn product benefits.
The role will work with Brand, Marketing, Sales and Logistics teams and external partners to deliver targeted training and education programs.  The ideal candidate should have a background in field sales, marketing and professional training and the ability to be flexible and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Associate Director, Trade Marketing. 


  • Manage end-to-end education materials and training to support B2B vertical including brand pillars, product features & benefits, and key differentiators. 
  • Create training and sales materials such as one-pagers, videos, train-the – trainer content and lead internal review to execute on materials.  
  • Lead and facilitate incentive programs for end users to assure material comprehension.  
  • KPI: Retail Sales % increase post trade marketing initiatives. 
  • Prepare and communicate program engagement on reports and return on effort analysis. 
  • Conduct retailer-specific training to help drive sales and support initiatives relative to each retail partner’s target client and market positioning. 
  • Plan and partner with key stakeholders to help onboard all new hires, both corporate and field. 
  • Provide feedback to all teams on new ways to elevate the in-store experience, client recruitment, and retention along with the overall service skills of our brand ambassadors. 
  • Lead in-store events nationally, providing clients with the ultimate customer experience through elevated client discovery and engagement. 


  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Communications, Marketing or Digital Marketing, or equivalent industry experience. 
  • 5-7 years of field marketing experience in training and education in the CPG industry. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal format with individuals and groups, especially in a virtual environment. 
  • Possesses excellent computer skills (Excel, Power Point etc.). 
  • Effective time management and project management skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
