We are seeking a Content Strategy Leader to help shape, execute and accelerate our content strategy. You will be an integral part of the Marketing team and collaborate closely with other parts of our business including Corporate Communications.

What you'll do:

  • Responsibility for Everbridge overarching content strategy in collaboration with Product Marketing and Corporate Communications
  • Sets the direction for quarterly content themes:
  • o   aligned to Everbridge corporate strategy and key priorities
  • o   global economy/market forces/world events
  • o   product roadmap & major releases
  • o   voice of customer insights gathered from in-product messaging, NPS, customer surveys, and market intelligence
  • Content is used for Thought Leadership, Brand Awareness, Buyer Influence, Demand Gen, Sales Enablement and is developed for TOFU, MOFU, BOFO
  • Content is customized by buyer persona and use case
  • Content is aligned with standard messaging guide principles & TOV; player/coach responsible for thought leadership pieces, editorial and content localization
  • Manage content management system; tracks metrics on open rates, correlation to win rates, cycle time, etc.
  • Prioritization process based on expected business impact
  • Manage overall content calendar including input into webinars and marketing campaigns/programs
  • Deliverables include white papers, blog posts, social posts, datasheets, case studies, web content, podcasts, webinars, etc.
  • Direct reports include Content Writers, Content Specialists,s and Market Intelligence. Other collaborators include Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, Video Production, Social Strategy, Customer Marketing, Corporate Communications, Demand Generation, Account Management, Digital Marketing & Social. 

What you'll bring:

  • Passion for creating results that make an impact on the world.
  • 10+ years in Content writing, production, management, editing; experience with security, HR, IoT or public sector analysts a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven ability to convey a persuasive story convincingly.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and competing deadlines with skill and comfort.
  • Ability to take initiative and execute projects from end to end.
  • Experience creating alignment, consensus, and support across disparate internal and external groups with a variety of backgrounds and personalities.
  • Hard-working with a “no task is too small” attitude and willingness to go above and beyond stated responsibilities.
