About you:
You are a performance marketing leader who is strategic and resourceful and excels in a fast-paced environment. You have experience managing and setting global budgets and scaling online and offline paid media. You are an exceptional people manager who nurtures and leads nimble teams that are motivated by making an impact. You have your finger on the pulse of the latest performance marketing trends and channels and develop programs that drive meaningful, sustainable growth and returns for the business. You are an analytical problem solver who has a bias for action, innovation, and iteration, and you view challenges as opportunities for excellence.
The role:
● Develop and drive Scribd’s overall growth strategy, ensuring repeatable and scalable results, and communicating the strategy across all core functions● Responsible for owning the planning and outcomes of all online and offline paid channels globally, helping to unlock growth in core and emerging markets ● Build out and grow existing team and capabilities while fostering a data-driven, highly accountable and growth-focused culture● Partner cross-functionally with product, SEO, lifecycle and engagement teams to better engage, convert, and retain customers● Manage a significant budget and work across finance, business intelligence/data, and business ops teams to track, forecast and report on results to senior management and the board Requirements:
● 12+ years experience in B2C performance marketing across digital (SEM, social media, affiliate, etc.) and offline (DRTV, OOH, podcast/radio, etc.) channels; preference given to candidates with subscription service experience ● 5+ years people management experience, with proven ability to attract, nurture, and retain top performing talent ● Experience setting and managing a significant media budget and refining attribution models, with an eye towards rapid but sustainable and a focus on optimizing for LTV:CAC● Strong communication and presentation skills, adept at communicating simply and effectively in large or small group settings● Ability to develop strong team cultures, lead groups of individuals effectively and manage cross-functional coordination● Excellent decision-making and organization skills with a knack for identifying, prioritizing, and articulating the highest impact initiatives  Benefits, Perks, and Wellbeing at Scribd
