We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Accounting Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounts receivable activities. In addition, you will be involved in the monthly financial close and developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.

What you’ll do as the Accounting Operations Manager at Notarize:

  • Oversee accounts receivable operations and help resolve customer inquiries 
  • Develop and implement accounts receivable procedures 
  • Partner with Sales Team on pricing and payment terms
  • Monitor customer invoicing procedures 
  • Develop procedures around refunds and disputes
  • Develop and monitor accounting KPIs 
  • Help with year-end financial audit and annual controls review 
  • Implement financial controls to reduce risk of error or misstatements 
  • Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships 
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience 
  • Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Related field, or comparable hands-on work experience
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills 
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures 
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills 
  • Experience working in fast paced, start up environment 
  • Prior experience in SaaS company preferred 
  • Proven ability to lead and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize and build consensus within multidisciplinary teams 
  • Self-starter mentality, with an eye for detail

  • NetSuite
  • Stripe 
  • Excel
