What you'll do:

  • Manage all invoicing processes for customers
  • Collaborating with the sales team on client activity and its financial impacts
  • Review billing operations, provide recommendations for improvement, and implement new processes.
  • Understand and ensure that Service Level Agreements are met; create processes to escalate errors and billing issues in a timely manner.
  • Working with Customer Success & Sales, lead through and/or manage the collection process, adequately following up with customers about the status of their outstanding payments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries through written and verbal communication
  • Support month-end close activities with the finance lead
  • Support financial forecasting and budgeting processes with the finance lead
  • Document new and update existing billing and collection processes
  • Maintain status of accounts and balances

You should:

  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 2+ years of relevant accounting or operations experience, with a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
  • Be detail oriented, but able to visualize the larger impact of a series of transactions
  • Be comfortable working with manual and automated processes
  • Have demonstrated professional experience using Excel and working with large data sets; experience with SQL is a plus
  • Have a passion for creating new systems and solving problems via infrastructure and automation
