About the RoleThe Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Program Manager role is a newly created, hands-on role that will play a critical role in developing, and operationalizing initiatives that support our DEIB strategy with Lyra’s growing population. Reporting to the Director of DEIB, you’ll project manage various DEIB initiatives, measure our program effectiveness against established goals, and support our overall programming. This role is ideal for someone who is a team-oriented thought partner with strong project management experience and a passion for creating effective, data-informed DEIB experiences.

What you'll do as a Program Manager:

  • Develop, train and support the co-creation of Lyra’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and other cultural programs and initiatives, providing program management, strategic planning, budgeting, and ensuring alignment with our overall mission
  • Design, create and sustain internal programs for employees such as Intentional Conversation: a series of open and transparent dialogue related to our social, political, and inclusion climate
  • Collaborate with colleagues on internal communications to stakeholders on programming achievements, trends, and upcoming milestones across various levels of the company
  • Initiate discovery and application for B Corporation Certification
  • Support establishment and maintenance of a centralized repository of DEIB tools and dashboards, resources, and event calendar
  • Establish project plans, deliverables, and timelines for execution of DEIB activities and events
  • Coordinate and manage representation at external DEIB conferences and events
  • Cross-functionally partner with the business to ensure tracking of established goals and sustain DEIB accountability
  • Identify external partners to form community and brand Lyra as a provider of choice 

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (examples: DEIB, HR, L&D, Enablement)
  • Clear passion for and demonstrated awareness and understanding of multiple facets of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Creativity and strong communication skills (research, writing, editing, presentation design, and speaking)
  • Discernment and empathy for internal stakeholders’ pain points and needs, and an ability to translate those needs into concrete requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills: experience collaborating successfully with diverse cross-functional teams, driving the right work while not being afraid to say “no”
  • Strong interest in and willingness to learn and stay current with the latest DEIB trends
  • Ability to work both independently and be a strong partner to the DEIB team
