Graph Data Science (GDS) is the fastest growing area of our business and we’re looking for a teammate that is passionate about illustrating the power of using graph technology for analytics and machine learning. The GDS team is a high-performing group that spans multiple organizations, loves to beat expectations, and has a quirky sense of fun. 
In this critical role, you’ll be the Product Marketing Director for our market-leading Graph Data Science solutions. You’ll be someone who thrives on building and telling a compelling, differentiated story for a market-changing product, taking often complex ideas and distilling them into easy-to-understand messages.  You are technically adept and familiar with analytics and machine learning pipelines and know how to engage data scientists and analysts on these topics. You’re great at working collaboratively and cross-organizationally with sales, product, partner, and marketing teams to ensure the best outcomes for the business.

  • As the ideal candidate, you will care equally about efficiency, quality, and execution and know that teamwork is key to success. We’re looking for someone who has:
  • Experience in the data science field, marketing-to Data Scientists, and being comfortable with advanced topics in AI/ML and analytics.
  • Taken product marketing projects from ideation to content creation, to communicating with internal and external stakeholders (PR, Analysts, market influencers).
  • Curiosity and passion about, and wants to stay on top of all the cool things happening in the rapidly evolving data science world.
  • Can communicate complicated ideas in a simple way, both in written and spoken form.
  • A fan of collaboration, working cross-organizationally, and comfortable working with sales teams and getting out in front of prospects and audiences.


  • Drive market impact: Ensure cross-functional alignment and lead the success of product and feature launches of our market-leading Neo4j Graph Data Science solutions; contribute to, build and support our GTM initiatives.

  • Be the message owner: Develop compelling narratives and positioning that continue to clearly differentiate Neo4j against our competitors and communicate value to our customers.

  • Become the Market Expert: Understand the ins and outs of the Graph Data Science market, conduct market analysis and be one of the company’s go-to experts, understand our competitors and keep track of the evolving market landscape. Engage regularly with analysts in this quickly evolving space.

  • Accelerate Sales Success: Arm the sales team to win with core sales assets (value props, narratives, presentations, FAQs, battle cards, playbooks, and training) work closely with the field and our customers, refine personas and identify content needs along the buyer journey.

  • Build Compelling Marketing Content: Be the product’s messaging guru and work across the org to help in the development of website, blogs, datasheets, webcasts, brochures, and other external-facing content to ensure the right messages are hitting the right audiences.


  • 5+ years in Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, or Product Management
  • 2-3 years with AI/ML technology, analytics stacks, and/or data science
  • Experienced in B2B enterprise product marketing of data management products
  • Strong project management, launch coordination, and GTM experience
  • Extensive work with enterprise sales team and providing enabling tools/training
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the skills to lead with a point of view knows how to build compelling content and storylines, and has worked with press and analysts
  • Technical depth/acuity to understand the ins-outs of graph, market relevancy and to ensure crisp, accurate communication to target personas
  • Organizational skills to manage competing projects with tight deadlines effectively.
  • Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
