The Manager, HR Systems & Analytics oversees the daily operations of HR systems and is responsible for or developing, analyzing, maintaining and supporting all human resources information systems in order to provide consistent and accurate data to assist with all facets of human resources and the business. You will serve as a subject matter expert who will bring best practice industry knowledge to the function, drive long term planning and road mapping and proactively partner with stakeholders to seek input and develop working relationships with the business to understand and support their needs. You will own the strategy for the HR Technology ecosystem and advancement of People Analytics maturity. The role will also be responsible for project management of all system related projects which will include development of project plans, test system changes, roll out, and change management and communication to ensures that milestones/goals are met. You will ensure the team adheres to approved budgets, delivers solutions for high end user satisfaction, and that data integrity/security is maintained. You will oversee the maintenance of internal databases, upstream and downstream data feeds, and oversees end user support and communications.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the overseeing a team responsible for the following duties:

  • Develop, implement, modify and maintain software/hardware requirements based on changing business requirements.
  • Report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.  
  • Develop and enhance processes, systems and procedures to ensure adherence to organization wide position control.
  • Ensure that employee information in HRIS is complete, valid and enables accurate reporting of data.
  • Develop reports and provide dashboards and HR analytics to the organization.
  • Recommend and assist with implementation of information systems to enhance reporting and efficiencies.
  • Generate HR Data and reports to inform, influence and support management decisions and best practices.
  • Responsible for maintenance of security profiles for users and general data security for HR data, keeping in mind data privacy regulations.
  • Develop and maintain system integrations.
  • Develop, Advance and maintain the employee listening strategy.

Required Experience:

  • Mid level management level experience supporting HR Programs, preferably in HR analytics and systems.
  • Strong people leadership skills – you are recognized as a talent developer and exceptional leader by your direct reports.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build collaborative partnerships both internally and externally.
  • Experience developing and managing technical and operating budgets.
  • Ability to triage issues, consult and seek to understand, generate solutions, make difficult decisions, resolve conflict, and apply sound judgment when faced with ambiguity.
  • Post Secondary Degree / Diploma in a related field is preferred.
  • SuccessFactors configuration experience an Asset.
  • Partnering with Finance and Corporate Technology Services.
