  • Assist in reviewing tax returns prepared by external advisors (i.e. corporate income tax, withholding tax and indirect taxes) in EMEA jurisdictions where the company has legal presence or is registered for tax purposes
  • Assist in identifying potential tax exposures and/or problem areas when reviewing tax compliance
  • Providing support to the EMEA regional Finance team in tax reporting process, including direct and indirect taxes
  • Liaise with both internal stakeholders and external advisory bodies for tax related matters both on a regional and international level
  • Support the tax advisory team in addressing tax implications of new products, tax law changes and/or expansion into new countries, and coordinating with external advisors (as appropriate) to develop and implement solutions for the organisation
  • Work if ad-hoc projects associated to tax related matters
  • Assist Finance and Tax team in day to day Tax related matters


  • Qualified lawyer in a common wealth or an European jurisdiction
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of post qualification experience gained from a reputable law firm and ideally in-house at a reputable organisation (Private Practice candidates are also welcomed)
  • Ideally have worked with different tax authorities in the EMEA Jurisdictions
  • Possesses solid legal technical expertise as well as sound business and people judgement sense.
  • Hands on at work and can be independent in managing complex projects.
  • Can develop relevant and creative solutions to meet current and evolving business needs.
  • Excellent legal drafting and interpretation skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and ideally in an European Language
