Shippo is growing rapidly and seeking a Customer Marketing Manager. This pivotal role will launch and scale executive customer programs, partner with internal teams, build customer advocacy programs which grow brand awareness, influence and accelerate sales cycles. Your work will not only “help sales sell,” but will also advance Shippo’s reach. 
Location: We are open to this position being remote.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as in-person/virtual events (alongside our Field Marketing team), workshops, user groups, community forums, and onboarding and ongoing nurture campaigns
  • Connect with customers to ensure continued education and success throughout the relationship lifecycle
  • Identify key customer advocates that can act as a marketing channel through case studies, speaking opportunities, referrals, and overall champions of Shippo
  • Help marketing and sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives
  • Manage a library of up-to-date customer success stories, testimonials, as well as reviews for our profile sites 
  • Manage annual/biannual/quarterly customer satisfaction surveys to drive change throughout the organization
  • Create special marketing content for account management/customer success teams to help at-risk customers with training
  • Create and launch a customer referral program to help drive and support new business targets
  • Create and run win/loss analysis program

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a customer marketing role building trust and advocacy with customers and partners alike and/or 4+ years’ experience in customer facing roles across Go-To-Market
  • Strong program management skills with ability to prioritize and multi-manage many different channels
  • Solid understanding of customer marketing metrics like retention, churn, and revenue 
  • Experience communicating and pitching to senior and executive partners
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills
  • Experience with Marketing automation tools like HubSpot/Marketo
  • Bonus: experience with customer advocacy tools like Influtive
