Inventory Control Manager
Truepill is looking for an Inventory Control Manager to leverage their inventory management experience and knowledge of supply chain to develop processes, identify technical and non-technical solutions, and be hands-on to maintain accurate inventory records.  You will be primarily responsible for the strategic placement of product orders, directing accurate cycle counts, and the collation of supply chain data across Truepill’s network for reporting to management.  This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining industry best practices related to pharmaceutical inventory management, to ensure a clear picture on resources deployed.  If you enjoy autonomy and want to make a huge impact for both patients and telemedicine, this is the right place for you!  An effective teammate must be a natural self-starter who is comfortable interfacing and driving processes, facing all levels of the organization. All the while they are keeping an open mind, sense of humor, and recognition that they are joining a dynamic, fast-growing organization.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Accurately forecast inventory demand and capacity utilization across the chain specifically for non-inventory and indirect purchasing
  • Build reporting & KPIs to effectively monitor supply chain metric accuracy vs plan
  • Adopt industry best practices to optimize inventory control, ordering, and SOPs
  • Ensure product stock is adequate and can integrate direct demand from customers
  • Develop peak and non-peak planning forecasts and processes
  • Support the sourcing leads in data analysis and supplier-facing analytics
  • Make recommendations to management and external partners to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
  • Report-out monthly on business & operating status to leadership

We’re Looking for Someone With:

  • 2-6+ years of inventory management or supply chain experience
  • Packaging and healthcare supply chain management experience required
  • Carrier management experience required
  • Experience working cross-functionally, across software engineering and operations projects
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Ability to accurately track inventory across a chain of disparate locations
  • Outstanding communication, organization/planning, and analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative
  • Engaging, team-player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
