About the RoleLyra is seeking a Manager for our After Hours Care Navigators team. This person will be responsible for developing and managing the After Hours Care team responsible for connecting clients to high-quality, evidence-based providers. The manager will partner with team leadership to develop processes and protocols to ensure the successful scaling of this growing team. The ideal candidate is a strong clinician with a passion for delivering best-in-class client service. 
This is a working manager position for an After Hours team. You will be required to consistently work between 3:30pm-11:30pm PT as well as occasional weekend hours.


  • Partner with Care Team leadership to build, develop and manage a high performing after hours care team
  • Serve as the point of contact for casework questions for team members
  • Manage inbound calls as needed during high volume shifts   
  • Hold bi-weekly 1:1 sessions with team members to provide feedback on casework and support ongoing training around gaps in understanding
  • Manage scheduling and shift design across after hours team 
  • Partner with clinical care leadership to recruit, hire, onboard and train new team members 
  • Conduct ongoing QA and training for team members, in accordance with the QA and training department documents
  • Identify trends in casework, morale, workload, and process and bring to attention of clinical care team leadership 
  • Collaboratively develop and refine protocols and processes in response to new service offerings, best practices, legal issues or other needs


  • Master’s degree in clinical social work or equivalent; LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent independent clinical licensure is required. We’re unable to provide supervised hours toward licensure or consider applicants without independent licensure.
  • 5+ years experience managing high-risk clinical situations (e.g., suicidality, mandated reporting)
  • 5+ years experience providing supervision to clinical and/or non-clinical staff, experience with after hours teams preferred 
  • Comfort in environments with evolving responsibilities
  • Tech savvy: you easily adopt and are able to navigate new technology platforms with minimal ramp up
  • A growth-oriented leader: you thrive on receiving and delivering constructive feedback, viewing it as an opportunity to polish skills
  • Passion for connecting individuals with excellent mental health care
