The Business Development Associate (BDA) is the first point of contact for our customers. Our BDAs demonstrate high levels of integrity and Returnly product knowledge. They are ambitious, curious, passionate, and self-driven great teammates. Day-to-day responsibilities include qualifying inbound and outbound generated leads, routing them to Account Executives, and tracking various data points that will help optimize our sales efforts.

What you’ll do

  • Make outbound calls and emails to named accounts to get meetings for AE's
  • Respond to inbound lead inquiries
  • Build a phenomenal first impression to our prospects and customers by adding value during every customer touchpoint
  • Orchestrate the growth & adoption of Returnly
  • Partner with our experienced AEs to help fill pipeline and develop your skills
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in Returnly
  • Engage in team development and mentoring
  • Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities
  • Help build new and improved processes

What we look for

  • 1–2 years of business development experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle time effectively
  • Knowledge of sales enablement tools
  • Hunger to be phenomenal
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Passion about learning the FinTech sales space
  • Intellectual curiosity and high ambition
  • E-Commerce & FinTech experience is a plus
Location   We’re excited to announce that Affirm is now a remote-first company! This role can be located anywhere in the U.S. Remote based employees may occasionally travel to an Affirm office for meetings or team building events.
