Theorem is looking for a motivated craftsperson to join our global team of 200+ professionals to support our growing distributed services business. We are on a mission to dismantle the traditional consulting ecosystem and replace it with an effective framework for innovation that transforms the way businesses think about and solve problems from the inside out.
WHO YOU AREYou are an experienced Product Designer. You enjoy your craft but are looking for a way to make a broader impact on your team. You love to discuss design and have strong opinions about best practices. You want to help people grow. You want to work in a product-focused engineering company. 50% Talent AcquisitionTheorem is a team of practitioners; we reinforce this culture by embedding practitioners into our new candidate hiring process. Talent Advocates are the second point of contact for all candidates. You will conduct "Practice Area" interviews to understand a candidate's depth of knowledge in their area of practice and assess if candidates would contribute to Theorem's culture. In addition to running interviews, you will contribute to the assessments we create and administer to candidates.
50% Engineering Evangelism We want Theorem to be known in design communities. We want to be seen as a fantastic place to work by senior designers and those who are still working to build their experience base. You will be reaching into different professional and design communities to bring light to the design culture we have at Theorem. At the same time, you will work internally to identify ways to elevate Theorem, engage with collaborators to plan and execute those initiatives. Previous programs our Engineering Advocates have managed have been Spring Training, a candidate level-up option that allowed candidates to work directly with us to better understand us before joining, and a Theorem Hiring and Networking panel series. Design Advocates have the responsibility and ability to impact and shape Theorem's culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - TALENT ACQUISITION

  • Lead Product Designer interviews to assess and excite Theorem candidates
  • Assist in the evaluation of candidates at all stages of the interview process
  • Assist candidates as they work through the Theorem technical assessments
  • Work with the other Talent Advocate team members on processes and tools to improve the hiring experience for candidates

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - ENGINEERING EVANGELISM

  • Join and contribute to communities where target Theorem candidates hang out
  • Contribute to the Theorem “Spring Training” program - a 6-week project where we work with post-bootcamp graduates on a real-world problem to develop and assess their skills before joining Theorem
  • Contribute to Theorem engineering blogs, and getting other engineers to contribute

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience as a hands-on, production Product Designer - Enterprise web applications
  • Experience working with distributed teams, across multiple time zones - remote experience highly preferred
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition, or taking part in interviewing design candidates a plus
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (Engineering, Product, Design) in a consulting environment highly preferred
  • Experience being a self-starter, project manager, pragmatic, high EQ, creator who brings ideas-thru-implementation to life!
