The Clinical Support Prescription team is responsible for areas of the member/physician experience as related to prescriptions. The primary responsibilities will entail communication with Doctor On Demand physicians for direction on prescription issues as they arise for patients to ensure effective and efficient delivery of high quality care for patients.


  • Respond to calls, emails, and live chats from members & physicians regarding prescription issues
  • Provide support to physician staff, to ensure patients obtain the appropriate care in a timely manner
  • Identify and escalate priority issues that need immediate attention via established pathways and follow up if needed
  • Provider troubleshooting to physicians and members as pertains to prescribing platform
  • Be self-motivated enough to complete tasks without being prompted
  • Willing to work flexible hours which may include evening or weekend shifts


  • 3-5 years background in the medical field
  • Medical Assistant training or higher (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • HIPAA certified
  • Telecommuting experience is a plus but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare and/or contact centers
  • Call center experience related to pharmacy or health care platform
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience working with web based systems
  • Ability to type 50+ WPM
  • Knowledge of Healthcare and medical terminology (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., picking up and computer / laptops) may be required.
  • Good manual dexterity required to use common office equipment (e.g., computers, laptop, and mobile devices).
