Our mission is to drive long-term value for Notarize’s customers (and for their signers) through tailored consultation on product and industry best practices.  The Global Learning & Development team at Notarize is responsible for planning, developing, executing, and measuring dynamic and engaging learning programs for all employees to aid in their personal and professional development and growth.   Reporting to the VP, Learning & Development, this role will develop and deliver engaging, comprehensive, and measurable training programs while program managing each initiative and analyzing results.  
The ideal candidate will have extensive domain knowledge of the Real Estate industry, specifically in mortgage and lending operations.  Including familiarity with retail and warehouse lenders, loan origination software (LOS Systems), investors and secondary market practices.  Previous experience working in a product, customer-facing roles (sales, solutions consulting, customer success) or marketing organization is preferred.

What you’ll do as a Training Program Manager, Lending at Notarize:

  • Develop, facilitate, and execute interesting, engaging and content-rich multi-tiered product and industry training strategies for both the Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Design reinforcement, assessments, and certifications to validate knowledge and promote continued learning .
  • Partner with internal SMEs to stay up to date on product releases and launches.
  • Proactively stay informed regarding industry and competitive changes and updates and facilitate sharing that content to appropriate internal audiences.  
  • Define the cadence and modalities for product and domain trainings.
  • Using a variety of modalities (ILT, VILT, eLearning), develop and deliver effective training content that aligns with the corporate strategy.
  • Engage key stakeholders and cross-functional leaders across the business to gather necessary information. 
  • Work with peers to manage internal communication processes and key internal stakeholders to gather corporate updates. 
  • Design assessment, certifications and/or reinforcement activities to support training delivery and validate comprehension and application of knowledge. 
  • Partner with Manager, Corporate Onboarding to maintain industry training for new employees. 
  • Partner with other members of the Learning team to assess and recommend tools that will aid in training delivery and reinforcement.
  • Continually collect and review feedback while assessing training program quality and efficacy.  Adjust approach as appropriate.

What we’re looking for:

  • Familiarity with the mortgage lending industry, including LOS systems and secondary market practices is required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales, sales training, customer success, product marketing or sales engineering/solutions consulting, preferably for high tech organizations with the demonstrated ability to transfer skills and knowledge to a group and/or individuals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong managerial, interpersonal, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills; detail oriented and able to execute initiatives quickly and accurately.
  • Strong presentation skills with an excellent ability to engage an audience.
  • Self-starter with an exceptional ability to identify behavioral and knowledge gaps and develop training to address them.
  • Experience working with product, exhibiting a natural curiosity to learn how product features work and impact our customers.
  • Experience acting as a liaison between SMEs across various departments
  • Strong meeting management and group process facilitation skills, with ability to structure small and large group meetings to achieve pre-defined objectives
  • Training delivery and/or instructional design experience
  • Ability to work independently, as well as cross functionally, to accomplish required goals
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience designing and delivering training assessments and/or certification programs.
  • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate360, Learning Management Systems, Camtasia, and Salesforce a plus.
