Who you are:

The Fivestars marketing team drives merchant acquisition and retention at scale. The Performance Marketing Manager, reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing & Partnerships, will be accountable for Fivestars merchant acquisition through our paid digital channels, with an emphasis on paid social. Working closely with our data engineering, product, product marketing, analytics, and design teams, this role is a technical and results-driven role that is critical for driving the company’s business economics and user experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop an outstanding Paid Social acquisition program in partnership with Creative, Analytics, and Product Marketing teams
  • Manage budget and performance for Facebook & Instagram Ads campaigns to achieve revenue goals and ROI hurdles
  • Build systematic test and learn strategy to identify to improve every element of our program including lookalike audience selection, creative, offer, bid strategy, and landing pages
  • Opportunity to eventually own all paid channels, including paid search, display, retargeting 
  • Own quarterly and annual forecast and planning for Paid Social
  • Manage weekly and monthly reporting of channel metrics and goals
  • Create dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track progress on key initiatives and vigilantly monitor and report on campaign performance—communicating learnings, best practices, and results to internal stakeholders/executives

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of online marketing, specifically with a track record of success managing performance-based paid social campaigns
  • Strong data analytics and strategy background, including experience using Google Analytics
  • Prior experience driving ROI-positive paid acquisition for a SaaS or eCommerce business
  • Comfort and experience with all paid social channels, understanding the different audiences and marketing strategies for each. 
  • Ability to prioritize effectively between short term and long term projects
  • Relentless focus on driving business results
  • (Preferred) Analytical rigor, an expert with Excel, SQL, Tableau, and/or Periscope, and working knowledge of statistics
