The Role
Are you an experienced B2B2C/B2B tech Product Marketer looking to build the foundation of go-to-market strategy, positioning, and activity for one of the most crucial, exciting, sustainable tech innovations of our future? (Yes, shaping the future of high-tech, sustainable community transit is a big deal.) If so, join Optimus Ride as our Product Marketer, where you’ll have the opportunity to build the Product Marketing function, strategy, and positioning from the ground up. You’ll report to (and work in conjunction with) the Head of Marketing, and work closely with Sales, Product, and executive leadership. You’ll have the unique opportunity to own the voice of value we deliver across our B2B2C model–to the booming autonomous vehicle market, transportation and services teams, and community members (riders!). You will own

  • Market and competitive intel-  Be the expert on our market landscape, competition, and buyer verticals.
  • Voice of customer- Be the expert on our buyer and own voice of customer. Identify target customers, their needs, their decision making process, and how our products will meet their needs. Be the conduit for the voice of the customer to our Sales, Marketing and Product teams, decisions, and processes based on your expertise. 
  • Value-based positioning and messaging- Develop and own value-based, differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with our B2B2C audiences, informs thought leadership, and ensures all customer-facing teams are on-message.
  • Sales enablement and training- Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
  • Product partnership- Partner with Product Management to develop product strategies and roadmap, solution bundling and pricing, and more, informed by market and competitive intelligence, voice of customer, and differentiated positioning.
  • Product Marketing campaigns and activities- Develop, deliver, and evolve go-to-market strategies, messaging, and tactical plans–including net-new product launches, new release updates, and solution bundling–to accelerate growth of services and products among target audiences. Manage the cross-functional implementation with marketing, business development, and product team.

You have

  • Bachelor's degree in business, MBA preferred
  • 8+ years professional experience, 5+ years in product marketing at high-growth SaaS/tech companies, or similar go-to-market experience
  • Analytical, strategic, creative, detail-oriented, master communicator in all formats (and distiller of complex concepts)
  • Experience working with product teams to define product strategy
  • Thrives a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
  • Genuine interest in driving the future of transportation


  • Experience in B2B2C SaaS/technologies, B2B transportation services/solutions,  and/or the autonomous vehicle market
  • Experienced people manager (direct or indirect), with desire to grow an organization
