Position Summary: The Product Leader (PL), Clinical, is a clinical domain Product Leader who is tasked with supporting, improving, and creating solutions that advance customer outcomes. They are responsible for ensuring their modules and products are successful in delivering value to the end user, are aligned with market demand, meeting or exceeding customer expectations, and exceeding revenue targets.

What you'll be doing day to day:

  • Collaborating on high level strategy 
  • Establishing and managing relationships with key internal and external partners 
  • Working closely with UX and development teams to ensure broad team is aligned on vision 
  • Coordinating and maintaining functional product roadmaps  
  • Promoting products internally and externally 
  • Managing and coordinating escalation of issues and fixes, willing to dig in to help triage production issues  
  • Defining production milestones, success metrics and go-to-market efforts 
  • Being a thought leader on software design around user interaction 
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and adoption 
  • Collaborating with engineering to design and deliver valuable solutions 
  • Leading the overall strategy for your products within PointClickCare 
  • Maintaining and ensuring visibility of your product road map  
  • Envisioning viable new concepts/ideas, supporting the PointClickCare Strategy and market position/goals of clinical products, with a focus on understanding business problems  
  • Iteratively testing concepts with customers to inform decisions 
  • Driving approved product development projects through the planning, definition, development, testing, pre-launch, and go-to-market phases 
  • Engaging the market and leveraging Customer Advisory Groups to validate that proposed solutions meet the needs of PointClickCare Customers 
  • Conducting ongoing in-depth research and analysis, staying abreast of changing customer needs as well as regulatory and industry trends 
  • Monitoring secondary research and market data and collecting and summarizing customer feedback. 
  • Driving results through effective communication by building rapport, anticipating, and preparing for questions, communicating calmly under pressure, and actively listening 
  • Representing PointClickCare with a high degree of knowledge, integrity, and professionalism 

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, information technology, or healthcare-related related field of study; or equivalent experience in healthcare, or in healthcare product management 
  • Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams to solve problems 
  • Demonstrated success at driving innovation in a dynamic environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Bonus experience:

  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment 
  • Prior experience managing software products through the entire software development lifecycle  
  • Experience in interpreting and implementing complex regulatory changes/requirements 
  • Technical understanding (SaaS, data) with ability to gut check technical feasibility and timelines and remove technical development barriers
