The Bazaarvoice Custom Services team is looking for a Project Manager with social-media experience, who can quickly learn new technology and ensure smooth implementation of customizable frameworks. This individual will be responsible for all phases of the clients’ custom projects in our Curalate platform including planning, design, implementation, configuration, training and transition to other teams. The ideal candidate should be able to engage in technical discussions with internal and client teams while being able to translate to a non-technical audience.
The Senior Project Manager's primary responsibilities are services scoping, project management, quality and customer satisfaction. Ultimately a PM is responsible for getting the Services that a customer purchased fulfilled according to the terms of the SOW and Service Order (SO). The role is primarily responsible for training, enablement and support to a client’s business and technical teams on the Custom Experiences they purchased. This is a hybrid role that incorporates both business and technical skills and experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work effectively with the Engagement Managers and Solutions Consultants to scope Custom Experiences implementations
  • Pro-actively scope projects with Customers’ business and technical stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined
  • Create custom SOWs clearly detailing services activities, responsibilities, deliverables, timing and pricing
  • Work closely with our Technical Success Engineers to launch projects on time while exceeding client expectations
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts with non-technical client contacts
  • Stay one step ahead by anticipating clients’ needs, as well as the needs of internal teams
  • Manage a multitude of projects at once, ensuring that all details are gathered and clearly communicated
  • Review PSD files and ensure details and specs are in place for handoff to internal developers
  • Provide technical consulting for clients implementing via API and mobile SDKs
  • QA initial development builds and effectively communicate required changes to engineering team
  • Manage timeline for development and communicate any changes proactively to clients to ensure successful project launches
  • Ensure that project vision and goals are clearly defined
  • Ensure that key stakeholders are identified and aligned
  • Define and maintain project plans
  • Focus on achieving milestones and meeting deadlines
  • Clarify roles and responsibilities with involved stakeholders
  • Prioritize day-to-day work with the right level of focus
  • Ensure that issues and risks are identified and mitigated in a timely manner
  • Manage multiple client and internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate client workshops, presenting, and validating in order to achieve consensus

Necessary skills and experience:

  • Proven experience with a project management methodology
  • You have 2+ years Project Management or related experience
  • You have a high-level understanding of how the web works (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience scoping professional services for SaaS implementations
  • Experience generating or executing Statements of Work
  • Proficiency with JIRA
  • Track record of working with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to maintain strong client focus at all times
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Passion, energy and a collaborative work ethic
  • Authorization to work in the US, sponsorship will not be provided

Nice to have:

  • Formal certification in a project management methodology (PMP, Prince 2, APM, CAPM, APMP)
  • Project management experience of SaaS implementations
  • Experience in the software/ e-commerce industry
