Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, data-driven, and results-oriented Performance Marketing Manager who will scale customer acquisition programs, with a focus on digital advertising.  In this role, you will be primarily responsible for developing, implementing, managing and improving paid media strategies and campaigns to maximize ROAS. You will also oversee our affiliate program.

What you’ll be working on at Format:

  • Expansion - Build and manage a mix of campaigns to maximize ROAS. Work alongside creative teams (Content, Design, Video Production) and participate in the production of the right deliverables, including campaign messaging, as well as image and video assets.
  • Monitoring and optimization - Monitor, track, and optimize channel/campaign performance. Generate campaign performance reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to ensure campaign health and to identify opportunities to scale. Fine-tune existing campaigns through A/B tests. Collaborate with the Growth Manager and Product Marketing teams to optimize targeting, run tests, and improve conversion rates.
  • Reporting - Establish quarterly strategy and projections. Generate internal reporting for all major metrics. Track spend and report on success metrics to optimize ROAS and CAC and meet business objectives.
  • Affiliate Program - Lead the creation of affiliate marketing and referral programs. Track the performance of this channel and ensure our affiliates are equipped for success with enablement materials created in collaboration with other teams.

What we’d like to see in our ideal candidate:

  • Experience in SaaS "Self Service" or e-commerce sales models
  • Experience running at least a $500K-1M annual advertising budget
  • Ideally 3+ years of SaaS marketing experience
  • A track record of successfully partnering with cross-functional teams to meet goals

  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, with the ability to prove what is –or isn’t—working
  • A proven ability to make data-backed decisions
  • Experience with digital marketing analytics and attribution.
  • 2+ years experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and other relevant platforms
  • Comfort when using data-driven analysis as well as  pitching new ideas and A/B tests to continuously improve performance
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
