The Global Learning & Development team at Notarize is responsible for planning, developing, executing, and measuring dynamic and engaging learning programs for all employees to aid in their personal and professional development and growth.    Reporting to the VP, Learning & Development, this role will be responsible for the development, management, and evolution of new employee onboarding programs. The right candidate will balance the needs of our growing, fast paced organization with a thoughtful, thorough, and well-designed learning approach.

What you’ll do as Manager, Corporate Onboarding at Notarize:

  • Foster a seamless and positive onboarding experience that solidifies each new employee’s decision to join Notarize.
  • Act as an ambassador to new hires and facilitate the introduction to relevant learning for both the organization and their role.
  • Build relationships to create a sense of community and cohesion. Orchestrate fun, engaging networking and team-building events. 
  • Partner with key stakeholders cross-functionally to understand learning needs by department and role.
  • Utilize adult learning principles and cutting-edge best practices to drive program effectiveness and adoption. Research and utilize a variety of modalities (ILT, VILT, eLearning) to drive new hire engagement and experience.
  • Liaison with HR/recruiting on hiring cycles and employee onboarding.
  • Manage new employee training communications and logistics. 
  • Challenge and hold new hires accountable for meeting training goals.
  • Design and distribute New Hire onboarding kits pre-hire.
  • Design process to collect attendee feedback and continuously improve the new employee onboarding program. Implement metrics and KPI’s to ensure new hire performance thresholds are tracked and achieved.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3 - 5 years of related experience in successful delivery and ownership of training or onboarding programs.
  • Proven success in creating, developing, and delivering virtual and/or in-person training programs preferably for a technology organization.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Motivated self-starter. Dynamic, outgoing, warm, and welcoming, with high emotional intelligence.  
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen to establish credibility and build rapport with stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills including gathering, assessing, and presenting data in meaningful and persuasive formats.
  • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate360, Rise, Camtasia, Prezi, etc. a plus.
  • Ability to teach and coach in a clear, concise manner.  
  • Strong project management skills. Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and/or programs.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Events or hospitality experience a plus.
