About the role

HashiCorp is seeking an ambitious Inbound Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of success, ideally with 1+ years of experience in Tech Sales or Operations. This is an amazing opportunity to join a fast-growing company that solves development, operations, and security challenges in the cloud infrastructure space.

In this role you can expect to...

  • Spearhead the growth & adoption of HashiCorp within SMB, Commercial, and Enterprise accounts
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through various outbound channels to increase customer interest, and excitement in HashiCorp products
  • Respond to and qualify incoming inquiries regarding interest in HashiCorp products
  • Craft a great first impression to our prospects and customers by adding value during every customer touchpoint
  • Partner with our experienced AE's to help build pipeline and grow your sales skills
  • Engage in team development and mentoring
  • Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business

You may be a good fit for our team if you have...

  • Business fluency in German language
  • Some work experience in Tech Sales, Consulting or Operations at a technology company 
  • Consistently been a top performer in prior roles
  • Experience working with a technical product or the aptitude to quickly learn complex technical concepts
  • Experience with pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, and objection handling
  • The ability to structure, control, and lead calls
  • High integrity and a team-first mentality
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills
  • Sales training and experience a plus
  • 4-year College degree or equivalent experience preferred
