We are seeking a field-facing Sr. Operations Engineer to support AMXL Delivery Stations. This key member of the OI team will support a region of the United States, assisting Deliver Stations with quality improvement while building scalable systems and processes to drive benchmark standards and change management.

AMXL is Amazon’s full-vertical fulfillment and delivery business for packages 50 lbs and up. Our Delivery operations have experienced massive growth in the past year, and are on track to double again in 2020. This role is an opportunity to jump on board a fast-growing and agile business laser-focused on delivering excellent customer experiences in the complex heavy/bulky space. It is very much Day 1 in AMXL.

As part of XLDS OI, you will serve as a critical resource for dozens of delivery stations, with considerable autonomy to deliver results for both internal and external customers. For the right candidate, this role will offer a long runway to future growth. Customer Obsession is critical for everyone we serve; towards that aim, candidates should expect travel up to 50% annually, including heavy support during Peak.

This virtual/remote role requires a candidate to 1) be within commute distance of an AMXL Delivery Station for easy visits on short notice, and 2) have access to a major airport to facilitate national travel when needed.
