Uniphore, the leader in conversational AI, is hiring a Head of North America Inside Sales. As the Head of North America Inside Sales you will report to the Chief Business Officer and be responsible for scaling up our velocity sales motion in the North America for the mid and lower Enterprise segment (up to Global 8k accounts, above $1B in revenue in priority verticals – Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Telco, Media, Tech, Healthcare, Retail etc.) including the initial development, hiring, training, and sales success of the Inside Sales team. A successful candidate for this position is a strong leader who can rapidly establish a high energy inside sales team and accelerate business in a new segment to scale revenue from year 1. This is an amazing opportunity to build a team, establish a culture, and take a leading role within a high growth start-up. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of selling enterprise SaaS products and services, as well as experience with consultative, value-led sales motions. Familiarity with revenue and forecasting systems and demonstrated ability to apply sales discipline methodology are critical. Experience selling into Contact Centers and Customer Experience-focused organizations to senior economic buyers is a plus.

Your responsibilities:

  • Build a high energy and enthusiastic culture in which sales succeeds and thrives
  • Consistently hire, onboard, train, and retain top quota carrying AEs to profitably grow revenue.
  • Exhibit an in-depth knowledge of customer and prospect base including requirements and trends
  • Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required
  • Track and manage all pipeline, opportunity, and account activities across the team in revenue systems
  • Report on sales activity, pipeline attainment, and forecasts to the CBO, CRO and Executive Leadership Team
  • Develop a winning sales strategy to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets

You bring:

  • A growth mindset that measures performance, tests and iterates to find optimal solutions, and leverages data to make strong and informed decisions
  • 15+ years experience selling in technology / software sales, especially in CX or contact center solutions
  • A rolodex of economic buyers and influencers at multiple organizations in North America, developed through a trust advisor relationship.
  • 6+ years sales leadership experience, especially leading high performing Inside Sales teams
  • Strong technical understanding of sales tools like Microsoft Office and leading sales platforms like SFDC, Clari, Outreach etc.
  • Experience in communicating value to customers at the highest levels
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
