The Director of Marketing Content and Publishing will work with in-house resources and our media communications agency, and help manage all major company communications projects, working closely with various department and subject matter experts. He/she will oversee positioning, messaging and content to ensure a consistent brand voice and value proposition in the marketplace. The individual will be an accomplished writer, as well as have the ability to provide direction and support to others on the team who are also creating content.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategy, development and publishing of a broad range of internal and external content to support Risk Strategies strategic business objectives
  • Prime the creation, review and publishing of engaging and compelling content for various audiences to support sales, marketing, as well as corporate initiatives and communications programs
  • Gather, synthesize, analyze internal and external information and organize these insights into sound content strategies shareable across channels
  • Create an editorial calendar to include sales/marketing materials, timely campaigns and communications programs to coincide with insurance market dates, and appropriate topics where the company should have an industry voice
  • Oversee the writing, review process, publishing and sharing of content across all marketing vehicles on a timely basis to ensure that we have a cadence of materials regularly being scheduled, published and shared in the marketplace
  • Scale with the company’s fast growth to provide oversight to other marketing resources and grow the team as needed
  • Marketing Innovation to help establish marketing workflows/processes to optimize resources and effectively manage the diverse needs across various divisions, practices and corporate
  • Review of analytics and marketing content performance across channels

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications
  • Expertise in overall brand value proposition and communication for all company channels and materials such as websites, social media, brochures, annual report, video scripts and industry award submissions
  • Excellent and persuasive communicator with 10+ years of B2B marketing experience in a commercial insurance company
  • It requires a broad knowledge of the insurance or consulting services industry, strong interpersonal, communications and organizational skills, effective writing and strategic thinking, as well as the ability to partner with others in a matrix environment
  • Self-directed, thrives in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills
  • Strategic and creative thinker with excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking and consulting skills
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS in Google Suite, Microsoft Office suite, social media/web platforms
  • Ability to work closely with graphic designers: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
