Meet the Role:The Product Marketing Manager for Home Health (HHC) owns the go-to-market, new product launch planning, and execution of our SaaS-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform. You are the face of PointClickCare, the subject matter expert, who is customer-facing, and really understands how to relate to ours customers’ needs/buying criteria.
·       You will develop product positioning, messaging and value propositions that helps establish the need for PointClickCare’s products in the market and differentiate it against the competition.·       You will be responsible for product launches - support the launch of new products and releases, defining product positioning, unique sales propositions as well as scoping and creating the required tools and collateral.·       You will assist in product naming by providing market, competitive and customer context·       You will create competitive comparison guides for use in positioning against similar offerings from other organizations.  ·       You will provide market intelligence/customer insights – as you are the expert on our customers and how/why they buy , as well as their buying criteria, regulatory considerations·       You will align closely with members of product management team to facilitate the appropriate flow of information between the teams.·       You will work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to educate them on ways to concisely demonstrate the strengths and features of our products and enhancements to both existing and prospective customers.·       You are the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will be supporting complex sales inquiries, RFP responses, and customer-facing product education and roadmap updates.  You will Work with customers in developing case studies, references, and testimonials.·       You will be developing marketing and sales enablement assets and tools to transfer that knowledge to the sales channel, and supporting prospect education and lead generation/nurture programs.·       You will also collaborate with the sales team in complex sales situations. Proactively communicate to sales with clear value propositions, messaging and tools to leverage in sales scenarios.·       This also means you will partner with the Sales Enablement team to lead sales training on new products/capabilities.·       You will drive the creation of product-specific marketing collateral, specifically white papers and Feature Function Benefit (FFB) documentation.·       Your day will also include working with marketing programs, brand management, and digital marketing teams to ensure that appropriate product themes are communicated to the market.·       You will develop, enhance, and own distribution of public-facing product launch marketing materials.  Meet the Team:You will report into the Director, of Product Marketing who oversees a small team of Product Marketing Managers. You are in good hands, as the Director is also a great coach who wants to see you grow and succeed. The team is very collaborative and is empowered to provide feedback and contribute to decisions, generating creative ideas and innovation. You will also be working closely with other Marketing sub-groups, Sales Enablement, Product Management and Customer Advocacy teams providing you with endless learning opportunities.  Meet Your Colleague:Meet Lisa. The challenging part of being a Product Marketing Manager is the fast pace you’ll need to shift your focus quickly to help our customers. Staying on top of shifting priorities can be challenging but Lisa says asking questions and reconfirming priorities with management has been crucial. Lisa believes to be successful in this role you need to be flexible and inquisitive - adjust your focus as needed but ask questions along the way to understand the why behind the change. Also, communication with different teams is key!
About You ·       You hold a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in business or marketing·       You have expert level experience in a product marketing or a technical marketing role·       You know Product Management and/or Product Marketing principles like the back of your hand - such as Practical Product Management or Pragmatic Marketing.  Certification in Pragmatic Marketing or SiriusDecisions Product marketing a plus.  ·       You have worked in the healthcare, LTPAC or Home Health industry, preferably within a SaaS environment·       You possess strong written and verbal communications skills, from writing collateral and web copy to presentations that deliver business concepts and moderately technical concepts to a diverse audience-base·       You have excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, decision making, and organization skills·       You adopt a “roll up the sleeves” attitude; a self-starting orientation with the intense drive to “make things happen"·       You are a polished professional with an enthusiastic attitude who thrives in fast-paced environments, with an ability to adapt to change.  Grow With Us:·       Let’s start by mentioning that in the last year, company-wide, there were over 160 employees who have moved into a new role.-        For the Product Marketing team, there is opportunity to cover multiple areas within our industry, move into other Marketing sub-groups, or move to different departments entirely such a Product Management. -        L&D Programs (Internal courses, educational reimbursement fund, & secondment programs)
