Web & Graphic Production Intern

That being said, we are looking for an intern to join our Design and Web Development team! This Web & Graphic Production intern would assist the team in creating and maintaining digital assets for interaction between the company, our customers, and prospective customers. This individual will be responsible for ongoing maintenance of, updates to, and quality checks of the team’s output, including web pages, email designs, and digital imagery. 
We are looking for candidates with solid design skills and high attention to detail. Candidates should be familiar with HTML, CSS and Wordpress, best practices and industry-standard software.
This is a paid internship opportunity. A weekly commitment of 5-10 (or more) hours is required.

The Responsibilities:

• Work closely with marketing department stakeholders to design, update, maintain and test digital marketing assets, including web pages, emails, digital imagery and more
• Translate project requirements into functional assets that render well across platforms and with different audiences
• Facilitate inter- and intra-departmental work and communicate clearly and effectively 
• Continually update project statuses using our project management system, and share actionable information with relevant teams
• Stay up to date with the latest design and dev trends and maintain best practices for visual design, web development, accessibility, and quality

The Person:

• You have a BA/BS or working toward equivalent experience in Web Design, Graphic Design, or related discipline and/or 6mo+ work experience in a related field
• You have a digital portfolio (Link to an online portfolio is required)
• You have the aptitude to explain technical hurdles and recommendations to peers
• You have proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD, Acrobat)
• You have knowledge of HTML/CSS and modern web design principles
• You are experienced with Wordpress
• As a plus, you have experience with video and/or VFX editing
• As a plus, you have experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Basecamp), marketing automation, and/or email design software (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, MailChimp)
• Major plus, if you have experience designing for conversion or for SaaS companies
