Resident seeks a detail-oriented fast-paced HR Generalist to support our Resident Home (USA) team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple domestic and international stakeholders to support our continued growth and expansion. The right candidate will have a  “hit the ground running” personality with an eagerness to have their hands in multiple projects at once.
**This is a full-time, remote based position. To be considered for this opportunity you must reside within the United States. New York-based candidates preferred. **

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the HR Manager and People team to support the overall business strategy by helping to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes through operational efficiency
  • Manage onboarding, employee life cycle and related HRIS activities
  • Advise employees and people managers on employee relations such as probation, performance improvement plans, disciplinary processes and other business matters
  • Support people managers and individuals in the performance management process. Provide advice and guidance continuously to support optimal performance
  • Provide a great onboarding experience by working with the business to build curriculums, networks, experiences and pre/post onboarding material and surveys
  • Deliver people reporting with data analysis on key activities such as engagement, turnover, and well-being themes with actions and follow-up
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion, wellness, corporate social responsibility and other HR operational ad hoc projects as identified
  • Understand employee opinions and experiences; provide a point of view and anticipate needs and address concerns proactively regarding employee engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience required (startups a plus)
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist working experience required
  • MS suite, G Suite (particularly spreadsheets) intermediate proficiency required
  • Comprehensive HR Knowledge, SHRM/HCRI certified preferred
  • Experience with using different HRIS platforms is a plus
  • High EQ and interpersonal skills. Excellent relationship-building skills with a diverse group of global colleagues is a must
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, diligent, responsive, responsible, accountable, and resilient
  • Resourceful, detailed, analytical and responsive in a high paced environment
  • Strong sense of urgency with a 'let's / can do' attitude in a sometimes uncertain environment is a must
  • Advanced time management skills and ability to work in a decentralized team is necessary
  • Experience in employee relations, benefits, performance management, people manager advice and general HR programs/operations preferred
  • Must possess curiosity to learn and growth-mindset attitude
