The Claims Analyst will work closely with and report to the Managed Care Claims Manager to ensure the industry leading claims support that our Managed Care clients expect. This position will assist the Claims Manager in collecting claims data from clients and importing the data into a proprietary claims system and reporting application. This position will also interact with account executives and financial analysts regarding client claims data and reporting. This position will require active communication with internal team members and limited interaction with outside parties such as insurers and reinsurers.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Reviewing claims submissions for completeness
  • Working in Excel to prepare data for entry into claims system
  • Entering data into claims system
  • Ensuring all data is backed up
  • Documenting the flow of data between clients and insurers/reinsurers
  • Communicating with insurers/reinsurers regarding suspected claims errors
  • Assisting account executives with claims inquiries as directed


  • Associate degree or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Health insurance industry experience a plus
  • Well versed in MS Access, Excel and Word
  • Strong English skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Touch typing skills
  • Team player, self-motivated and dependable
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills
  • Self-starter, professional and assertive
