About the Role
This is a fully remote role requiring English and Bulgarian fluency. You must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
The Kraken Client Engagement team continues to grow at an astounding rate and we continue to hire as many talented specialists as we can find to provide first rate customer support to our users. A successful candidate will be highly collaborative, enthusiastic, resourceful and able to translate documents in Bulgarian to English and vice versa. 
Our team is one of the best in the industry, and we’re looking for people who can make us better. Many of us work remotely, but we’re in touch with each other constantly. We collaborate to solve tough problems and meet regularly to stay up to date on what’s going on in the company and industry. 


  • Assist in the translation of documents in Bulgarian to ensure a seamless onboarding and account opening experience for our clients.
  • Utilizing e-mail and live chat, responding to 20 to 150 client concerns regarding trading (explaining margin, answering questions about order execution), digital asset transfers (looking at block explorers, answering questions about bitcoin transactions), and other general questions on a daily basis.
  • Become an expert on our platforms and ensure client’s requests are resolved with updated and relevant information.
  • Work with our internal team to optimize, automate, improve processes and procedures.


  • Native level fluency in Bulgarian is essential
  • Strong written communication skills in Bulgarian and English
  • 1+ year(s) of previous experience in customer support
  • Strong desire to learn in a fast paced industry
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of crypto terminology
  • Computer literacy, ability to learn and navigate new software
  • High output -- metrics-based experience is helpful
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and research skills
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Able to make quick decisions autonomously
  • Security and privacy focused
  • Detail oriented
  • Loves helping people

Nice to Have

  • Excellent abilities in organization, coordination and project management
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and time-zones
  • Crypto trading experience, preferably on multiple platforms
  • Experience with Kraken’s API a major plus
  • Technical background is a plus
