Summary/Objective:

The Director of Pricing will be responsible to define develop and execute on strategic transformation initiatives that will continue to fortify BeyondTrust’s position as a leading provider of intelligent identity and access security SaaS solutions.

This director level position will require cross functional collaboration (between Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Deal Support) to optimize how we position, price and monetize our product portfolio through the development and implementation of company-wide processes, frameworks and tools. The person in this role will help build out a Center of Excellence (CoE), as well as execute on strategic projects that harmonize and drive material impact to the business across all product lines and regions.

The person in this role will communicate strategy, vision and opportunities to transform the business across senior leaders and operating managers by synthesizing learnings from multiple sources and complex analysis to develop fact-based, actionable recommendations supported by thought leadership and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, improve, or create new pricing/value capture strategies
  • Incorporate competitive context, economics/profitability, client segmentation, value proposition, offer design (bundles/solutions) and differentiators into optimal go-to-market pricing recommendations
  • Provide market & pricing best practices and intelligence as needed (leveraging internal/external market insights)
  • Cross Functional collaboration with product management, marketing, sales and finance teams to collect and analyze data, create business case including customer use cases
  • Drive transformation from perpetual/initial license fee to subscription based and/or hybrid pricing models
  • Synthesize findings from multiple sources and complex analysis to develop fact-based, actionable recommendations supported by thought leadership
  • Provide Quantitative and Qualitative insights to leadership to influence decisions
  • Build and manage a small team of experts that can run multiple projects against deliverables & timelines simultaneously involving multiple stakeholders
  • Own and manage the BT price book and SKU catalog

Job Qualifications/Education:

  • Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a quantitative discipline or equivalent
  • Preferred requirements: Master's degree in business, economics, or a quantitative discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience relevant to the role and in scope and size of impact
  • Experience with pricing B2B SaaS software
  • Previous experience in a software company in Pricing, Sales Operations, Product Management, or a consulting firm with similar practices/offerings
