Description: The Engineering Project Manager will participate in technical large-scale initiatives internally and externally and reports to the Vice President, Technology.  This role has a particular focus on improving operational/systems metrics related to core systems, implementation of data projects for customers, management of vendors/resources etc and estimation of implementation resource needs ensuring Unite Us continues to meet its customer commitments. This is a contract position for 6 months. 

What You'll Do:

  • Manages enterprise effort for continual improvement of core systems from performance and uptime perspective
  • Support implementation of data projects for enterprise customers in short term while Unite Us increases team capacity 
  • Help manage CTO  vendor relationships to setup deliverables and timeframes   
  • Analyze and organize issues from alerting systems and submit to portfolio board as needed 
  • Works closely with Engineering leaders, Dev Ops team and vendors on setting up enterprise frameworks
  • Lead cross-leadership initiatives to fill short term needs around hiring, org structure and talent management to up organization for growth

Education and Experience:

  • Ability to communicate timelines, understand dependencies, and manage multiple project workstreams
  • Technology project management of enterprise initiatives and data implementations
  • Experience with managing vendors
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with customers
  • Ability to collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure Unite Us applications are built with sound architectural specifications that meet the needs of both Unite Us and its customers
