As an Insurance Account Manager, you’ll be in a dynamic, customer-facing, account relationship and retention role. You’ll be working with our software clients to gain access to a highly desired and competitive Workers' Compensation program.  WC is the 2nd largest expense for home care agencies, next to payroll.  In this role, you'll be gathering data to populate renewal applications while providing clear and complete submissions to various markets.  Through proactive communication and strategic discussions, you’ll be responsible for providing a personalized approach to developing customer relationships while delivering processes and best practices to our home care clients. You'll have plenty of opportunities to engage with your clients so you should be comfortable discussing coverages, presenting proposals and working with warm leads for new business opportunities. Among the responsibilities, you will analyze quotes, prepare and present renewal proposals, bind coverage, issue certificates and conduct policy checks. 

This requires excellent customer services skills, ability to listen intently, and someone that can use critical thinking and problem-solving to be a fierce client advocate. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical, medical, financial, or communications discipline
  • 3+ years of insurance experience in liability and workers’ compensation
  • Must live in Overland Park, KS, or remote within access to a major airport
  • Valid Property & Casualty Insurance License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce experience
  • Experience working with an agency management system
