Senior Director, Product Marketing

ROLE MISSION The Senior Director, Product Marketing must help drive business growth through effective positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for 15Five’s holistic performance management platform. This will require deep knowledge of our buyers, our market landscape and competition, and a passion for uncovering new opportunities to create customer value. This individual will bring insights and collaboration to our product strategy, and be responsible for marketing the full lifecycle of our products. Equally important will be their desire and ability to build a team of high caliber, next generation product marketing leaders.

OUTCOMES

  • Develop effective go-to-market (GTM) strategies to maximize the revenue impact of our products 
  • Create differentiated positioning and messaging for our suite of solutions that drives successful marketing and sales engagement
  • Drive incremental pipeline and revenue through comprehensive product launches 
  • Increase win rates by optimizing strong product feedback loops with customers and prospects and effectively enabling GTM teams
  • Drive additional revenue with customers through product education and expansion enablement

  • Lead market research and recommendations to product and leadership teams
  • Provide competitive intelligence and inputs to inform product strategy
  • Deliver timely insights on market trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Create comprehensive analysis of customer win/loss data, driving factors and recommendations for optimization

  • Build and nurture a best in class product marketing team
  • Create an empowered team culture with clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability
  • Drive high engagement and performance with demonstrated business impact and employee well-being
  • Play an active role in company leadership and cross-functional collaboration

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 4+ years experience as a data scientist, data analyst, or data engineer
  • Experience at a high-growth early stage tech company is a plus
  • Experience with Reforge is a plus

COMPETENCIES

  • Exceptional communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders at all levels of the organization—from the end user to the decision maker —with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, drawing audiences in through engaging presentations and narratives.
  • Strategic product planning - Provide input and strategy into product roadmap and strategy based on market and customer research insights, industry analyst interactions and competitive findings.
  • Customer centricity - Deeply understand our customers, their world, and their buying journey and leverage this knowledge to inform our GTM strategy and product content
  • Lead cross-functional competitive and win/loss analysis to understand strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, both current and future.
  • Full-lifecycle product marketing from product definition through in-market product growth including launching, naming, positioning and pricing products.
  • Relational mastery -  This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring to life the product. You are at the center of our entire organization, constantly interacting with teammates, prospects, and customers and must thrive working on a collaborative, cross-team capacity.
  • Lead the creation of sales tools and collateral including presentations, case studies, demo videos, and white papers. Train and support the global sales team and customer success teams to articulate product positioning and advantages.
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and Corporate Marketing leaders to design and launch campaigns developed to create measurable pipeline impact and impact brand awareness with HR leaders.
