Here's what that would mean for you in the Technical Project Manager role.

Caring

  • You’ll contribute to the Kyruus vision and mission by driving efficiency, visibility and excellence throughout our Security and Infrastructure product development teams and processes.

  • You’ll own project and scrum processes within the Security team to ensure communication and alignment between technical teams, stakeholders and managers. You’ll be key in driving the drumbeat and cohesion within the security team and ensuring each member has what they need to succeed in their role while also keeping an eye on commitments and timelines.

Ownership

  • You’ll work with our Security and Infrastructure teams to manage technical projects through completion including owning, monitoring and reporting out on project progress, identifying areas of risk and options for mitigation.
  • You’ll help our internal security and technical teams define what project success means and measure progress toward achieving success metrics.
  • You’ll lead effective brainstorming sessions with Engineering management to understand project needs and scope the work associated.
  • You’ll facilitate sound technical decision making on the team even without being technical. You’ll help the team make decisions by weighing all options, understanding trade-offs and risks, and codifying the rationale for the decisions
  • You’ll use Jira to update Issues, develop Plans and monitor work with engineering teams.
  • You’ll be responsible for understanding how the Product & Engineering teams manage sprints and interruptions
  • You’ll report to the Director, Program Management in our Program Management department within the Product Development division.

  • You’ll use your 4-7 years experience in project management and excellent communication skills to:
  • Effectively work with the Security and Infrastructure team to define and execute technical projects.
  • Work cross-functionally with other Product Development to report on project status.
  • Escalate issues and provide project updates to upper management.
  • Build a shared vision with our internal teams.

  • You’ll use your 2-4 years experience with agile SaaS/enterprise teams in a product company to:
  • Work in a consultative manner with internal teams including infrastructure, security and applications.
  • Facilitate and support agile/scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Standup, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Facilitate meetings at multiple levels within the organization as a subject matter expert in the software development lifecycle.

  • Plus:
  • Experience or awareness of SaaS operational complexities and requirements.
  • Security: Understanding of Security Best Practices.
  • Security: Experience in working in a highly regulated environment.

  • You’re a trusted member of the Program Management team and can provide immediate value to the Security team.
  • You drive projects to completion within the Product Development team and partner with other teams to communicate status across the organization.
  • You improve the health of our Product Development cross-team communication.

  • Kyruuvians in the Technical Project Manager role can move in a more linear career path on the program management team. The next step is Senior Technical Project Manager and this individual could explore this role within program management on the Product Development team or Delivery team.
