About the role in a nutshell:

The product strategist is responsible for developing strategic plans for future product lines and market expansions by analyzing sales performance, conducting in-depth market/customer research and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Research the company’s performance and the competitive landscape to find unserved needs and market opportunities
  • Develop business cases for new product launches and extensions to our existing apparel & footwear products
  • Set up the product vision and framework to enable the cross-functional team to move through the product life-cycle from concept to market
  • Develop market strategies and expansion plans by conducting in-depth market research
  • Gathers manages and prioritizes customer requirements and pain points; articulating the buyer’s needs
  • Identifying key features in products and cross-sell opportunities that will appeal to customers
  • Works closely with marketing, advertising, retail, and operations to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met
  • Equip the marketing team with positioning statements, messaging, and the associated proof points
  • Working with the marketing department to develop marketing campaigns for each product
  • Use market research data to establish product pricing

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in comparable positions – 3+ years experience in product strategy and development (apparel experience preferred)
  • Languages - English (native)
  • Industries - e-commerce
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Collaborative mindset
