We are looking for an Account Director to join our team at BenchSci. This person will spearhead delivering novel AI technology impacting research at some of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies. Reporting to the VP, Key Accounts, this position will manage the business relationship, deliverables, and total revenue for the account while serving as the voice of the client. This leadership role will actively support our mission to help scientists bring new drugs to patients 50% faster.

You Will:

  • Own and drive the strategic partnership with some of the top pharmaceuticals in the world
  • Act as the primary relationship owner for your strategic accounts and act as the voice of the client
  • Demonstrate a high level of teamwork and collaboration across cross-functional internal teams to meet our strategic accounts' expectations and contractual deliverables
  • Lead business alignment (internal and external) to ensure revenue retention, growth, and expansion. Including the protection of existing business while expanding into future deliverables
  • Ensure all client-facing communications and activities are on strategy and held to the highest standard
  • Support internal communications to align on expectations, next steps, account strategy, and the overall focus on the account
  • Align any external customer opportunities, requests, and issues to the internal roadmap to deliver revenue goals

You Have:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management / Development
  • Experience in the technology and pharma industry
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional partners
