What you'll do at Jamf:

The Director of Business Resilience is a key leadership role focused on setting the security vision and strategy for business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience. This role is responsible for communicating, developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing the governance of the enterprise business continuity program (BCP) for Jamf. The objective of this program is to support both systems and operational process resilience ensuring proactive prevention of incidents and timely recovery. This program will support key recovery objectives, including IT infrastructure risk assessments, crisis communications, coordination with internal and external partners and timely work area recovery. This individual will own governance, risk, and compliance requirements for resilience and implement best practices for a large-scale multi-cloud environment. This individual will also play a key role working with the Information Security, Architecture, Engineering, and other teams to help teams define and deliver on the overall Jamf BCP and resilience expectations. The individual will report directly to the CISO and will be a trusted business advisor providing education, awareness, and guidance to the senior leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, build, run, and manage an enterprise-wide resilience program for Jamf, including BCP and DR strategies, plan development, plan exercising, and annual program agendas and recovery improvement metrics.
  • Maintain a current understanding of the threat landscape that could potentially impact cloud operations and translate that knowledge into potential risks and actionable plans to protect the business.
  • Lead the assessment of the impact of potential disruptions in services, and oversee the design, execution, and continuous improvement of BCP and DR plans to mitigate these risks in compliance with corporate governance, regulatory policy, and industry best practice
  • Work collaboratively across the entire company, including Compliance, Risk, Corporate IT, Product Security, Finance, Business Operations, and Engineering teams to implement resiliency plans. Interface with the project management office to ensure that new and ongoing projects sustain the level of recoverability consistent with business objectives.
  • Manage the execution and completion of all BCP and DR test activities. The person who fills this position will be expected to collaborate with business unit management, external business partners and key technical staff members to plan, direct, control and maintain effective resilience plan testing.
  • Manage the creation of program status communications to internal management and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and customers, regarding the status of the resiliency program, including annual reporting, audit report responses and customer requests.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Required)
  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures: accreditations from DRI International (DRII) or Business Continuity Institute (BCI) professional practices (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 Years business continuity experience (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 Years Leading teams responsible for execution of business continuity and resiliency in a public cloud environment (Required)
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of current BCP/DR planning techniques and technologies, as well as the methods used to perform risk analyses and business impact analyses (Required)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential criteria for this position, because the DR program leader's success depends heavily on cooperation and commitment from every level of Jamf's business, and from personnel in many distinct roles (Required)
  • Past experience directly building or leading a global BCP programs (Preferred)
  • Understanding of and experience in applying FedRAMP, StateRAMP, ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST or other compliance standards (Preferred)
