The Opportunity


UTR Sports is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager to oversee the growth and success of our customer and provider base within a defined International Territory. This role combines sales, client success, and relationship management to drive revenue and ensure that tennis and pickleball providers leverage our cutting-edge platforms to enhance player engagement and event operations. As a Regional Manager, you will be pivotal in expanding UTR Sports' footprint, helping clubs, academies, and event providers maximize the value of our products while achieving their own business goals.

What We Are Looking For


We are looking for a motivated, results-driven professional who thrives in both sales and client management environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving revenue targets, building long-term relationships, and managing a diverse portfolio of clients. You will play an essential role in driving UTR Sports' presence in your region, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth across our tennis and pickleball platforms. You will be responsible for leading both new customer acquisition and the ongoing success of existing providers, working closely with clients to optimize their use of UTR Sports' tools and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive new business by selling UTR Sports software tools to tennis and pickleball clubs, academies, and event providers.
    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and grow revenue within existing client accounts.
    • Achieve individual revenue and renewal targets, ensuring consistent growth and retention within your territory.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to promote UTR Sports’ digital engagement platform and products, helping clients drive participation and revenue from their events.

Client Relationship Management & Provider Success

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients within your region, offering ongoing support and guidance to ensure success with UTR Sports' tools and platforms.
    • Foster long-term, positive relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, proactive support, and continuous education on UTR Sports’ offerings.
    • Work with clients to develop tailored solutions that align with their specific business goals, ensuring their events and programs thrive with UTR Sports' technology.
    • Drive customer engagement and retention by monitoring client satisfaction, addressing challenges, and providing actionable insights to improve client outcomes.

Performance & Account Management

    • Consistently monitor and assess client satisfaction, retention rates, and overall account health to meet performance KPIs related to renewals, growth, and engagement.
    • Regularly track and report on key metrics, including sales performance, customer success, and account expansion.
    • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance service quality, and ensure clients receive a seamless experience across all touchpoints.

Market & Competitor Analysis

    • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and ensure UTR Sports stays ahead of the curve in the tennis and pickleball industries.
    • Adapt strategies based on market dynamics to prevent churn and continually enhance the customer experience.

Travel & Regional Presence

    • Travel within your designated region to meet with clients, attend events, and build strong in-person relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Support local events and initiatives to strengthen UTR Sports' presence and foster deeper client engagement.

Location
This role is remote with the expectation of regular travel within the designated region. Ideal candidate would be located in Mexico, Central or South America.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or account management role, preferably within the sports, technology, or SaaS industries.
  • Proven success in developing businesses with limited resources. Entrepreneurial mindset. 
  • Proven success in managing a portfolio of accounts, driving revenue growth, and meeting performance targets.
  • Experience in sales, customer success, and provider relationship management with a focus on B2B environments.
  • Strong understanding of the tennis and/or pickleball industries is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • A passion for sports and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the tennis and pickleball communities.
  • Ability to travel within your designated region as required.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (B2/C1). Other languages are a plus (French, Portuguese, etc)

Benefits

A competitive OTE range of $50,000 to $60,000 USD, with the final offer contingent on various factors including experience, skills, and organizational needs. Please note, this range has not been adjusted for geographic location differentials.
