DUTIES:

  • Implement energy efficiency programs for public utilities (electric and gas): Develop and execute strategies to improve energy efficiency in residential and commercial sectors, targeting reductions in energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Execute strategies to improve program efficiency: Identify areas for improvement within the program, develop innovative solutions, and work closely with stakeholders to implement these strategies to increase program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Research and analyze energy efficiency program data: Utilize data analysis tools and techniques, such as statistical analysis and data visualization, to gain insights into program performance, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Assist Operations Manager and team in program operations and resource optimization: Support the Operations Manager in managing daily operations, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring smooth program administration.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Energy Efficiency Program requirements: Stay informed about changes in regulations, policies, and industry trends affecting energy efficiency programs, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date database records: Maintain accurate records of program activities, including project details, Trade Ally participation, and program performance metrics.
  • Prepare periodic status reports: Monitor program progress towards goals and prepare regular reports on contractor/consultant participation, project completion, and other key performance indicators.
  • Provide technical, administrative, and marketing assistance to Trade Allies: Offer support to Trade Allies in the areas of technical expertise, administrative guidance, and marketing resources, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication between all parties.
  • Assist with management and oversight of program-specific email correspondence: Manage and organize program-related email communications, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries from stakeholders and participants.
  • Other duties as assigned within area of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Economics, Environmental Economics, environmental Sustainability, Quantitative Mathematics or related field and 3 years in any position providing data management experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Economics, Environmental Economics, Environmental Sustainability, Quantitative Mathematics or related field and 1 year in any position providing data management experience.

Other required experience:

• 1 year of experience with energy efficiency, construction, or administration;

• 1 year of experience with MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel);

  • Demonstrated knowledge* of:
    • CRM database and/or other related software applications
    • Microsoft Power BI and/or other data visualization and analytical tools
    • Project management experience
    • energy efficiency and US policies for residential energy programs
    • sustainable building practices and technologies

*Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience.
