Responsibilities
Responsibilities: - Preparation of Medicare and/or Medicaid Cost Reports. - Understanding of financial statement reporting, general ledger and other statistical data to support cost report preparation - Participate in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of the desk review process - Assist in review of tentative settlements, cost report audits, appeals and other correspondence with CMS and MACs - Assist clients with healthcare reimbursement issues, such as cost report audits, allowable cost reporting, new program analysis, and payment claim reconciliations. - Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with clientsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, economics, finance - Requires 0 - 3 years of job-related experience - Entry level candidates encouraged to apply - Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong computers skills; proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred - Experience with accounting software is a plus - Exceptional attention to detail, …This job isn't fresh anymore!
