JOB DESCRIPTION:

Commvault is seeking an experienced Global Director, Partner Sales Enablement to lead our enablement strategy for channel partners, MSPs, GSIs, alliances, and hyperscalers. This critical role focuses on empowering partners to drive business value and success while ensuring consistency and scalability in their enablement experience. Reporting to the Head of Global Field Sales Enablement, you will combine strategic leadership with tactical execution to deliver impactful, global enablement programs that align with Commvault’s business objectives and strengthen our partner ecosystem.

What you'll do...

  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Design, execute, and communicate comprehensive sales enablement strategies that amplify business value and drive partner success across our prioritized partners.

  • Develop Globally Scalable Frameworks: Build repeatable and scalable frameworks that address partners' unique business objectives, ensuring efficiency and global consistency.

  • Expand Competency Programs: Establish and enhance learning programs that improve partner processes and internal team interactions with partners.

  • Lead Content Creation: Partner with marketing, learning experience, technical education, and enablement teams to create, develop and manage high-impact instructional content, ensuring alignment with partner needs and objectives.

  • Strengthen Strategic Partnerships: Engage with global sales leadership and partner business leaders to identify and prioritize enablement program improvements.

  • Track and Report Impact: Deliver quarterly reviews that showcase program performance and business impact, using data to inform continuous improvement.

  • Blend Strategy with Execution: Balance strategic planning with hands-on program management, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Facilitate Training: Deliver live and virtual training sessions to empower partners and internal stakeholders with the tools and knowledge needed for success.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the partner portal for enablement materials, ensuring easy access and up-to-date content.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align enablement efforts with broader business goals.

  • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for partner enablement, both internally and externally.

Who you are...

  • Leadership Experience: 10+ years in sales enablement or a related field with a proven track record of managing global programs for partner ecosystems.

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute strategies that align with broader business objectives and address partner-specific needs.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive meaningful outcomes.

  • Content Development Skills: Experience creating and managing impactful instructional materials tailored to partner sales enablement.

  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of hyperscaler cloud providers, marketplaces, SaaS, data protection, and cyber resilience.

  • Industry Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the technology eco-system globally, with an emphasis on the North American market. 

  • Program Management: Strong organizational skills with experience managing competing priorities and delivering quality outcomes.

  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC/MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.

  • Experience working with hyperscalers and global channel ecosystems.

  • Background in data protection, cyber resilience, or related technologies.

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:

$165,500 - $287,500
