What You Will Do:

We are seeking a driven, quick learning Generative AI Implementation Specialist who is interested in using natural language processing and large language models to tackle diverse and complex challenges - you'll consult with stakeholders as well as work in development environments. You will frequently collaborate with others to create, develop, and deploy lasting generative AI solutions for a wide range of problem spaces. You will also interact with stakeholders from different roles and domains to understand their needs, explain technical possibilities and limitations and establish and measure success metrics to enhance the outcomes of solutions. This role focuses on the implementation of models, not the training of novel foundation models.

  • Use one or more common NLP/LLM focused languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) to implement generative AI solutions for various use cases.

  • Leverage existing foundation models for implementation and/or fine-tuning.

  • Work with data sets of varying sizes, types, and complexities to prepare, process, and analyze them for generative AI solutions.

  • Work with stakeholders across a variety of roles and domains to understand their business needs, technical feasibility, and operational constraints.

  • Communicate complex technical systems to non-technical staff clearly and concisely.

  • Integrate with a cross-functional interdisciplinary team to explore generative artificial intelligence tools and services, supporting a wide range of use cases across ICF.

  • Assist in the design, development, and user testing of AI-driven solutions, ensuring their alignment with client needs and project objectives.

  • Define, measure, and improve success metrics for generative AI solutions using a metrics-oriented, iterative mindset.

What You Will Bring With You:

  • 0+ years of professional experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and/or technical certifications related to generative AI.

  • Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript development.

  • A solid understanding of the basic structure, capabilities, and limitations of foundation models and how they can be applied or adapted for different tasks and domains.

What We’d Like You To Bring With You:

  • Experience and interest in incorporating NLP approaches and large language models to solve diverse and complex problems.

  • Familiarity with using OpenAI and OpenAI-like (Anthropic, Nvidia NeMo, etc.) API endpoints to access and interact with foundation models.

  • Familiarity with vectorization and vector databases.

  • Demonstrated skills, certifications, or experience in artificial intelligence.

  • Experience working in Azure and/or AWS.

  • .NET development experience.

Professional Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
