Job Description:
Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator of business purpose loans to real estate investors nationwide. DFS originates two main loan products – a short term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $70MM per month. DFS is looking for a detail-oriented General Counsel to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Review and negotiate transactional documentation related to warehouse lines, repurchase agreements, securitizations and master loan purchase agreements
• Review and negotiate vendor and licensing agreements
• Conduct legal research to stay up to date with changes in state laws and regulations of mortgage compliance
• Advise on legal implications and risks related to loan documents and real estate closings
• Advise on workout strategy for defaulted loans 

Preferred Qualifications

• 7 or more years of experience in Real Estate Law.
• Active Bar member in good standing within your state.  
• Strong work ethic and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
