Fullstack Web Developer - United States

About the Role:

We are looking for a Web Developer (Fullstack) who has the creativity, drive, and experience to provide the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of our website. As a Unite Us Web Developer, you will be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. You will be responsible for building and deploying features to our WordPress website, handling the integration of plugins, and performing routine maintenance of our site. You will report to the Web Manager and be our first, in-house, website expert. This person is incredibly organized while being able to envision and create user experiences that are not only visually stunning but also highly functional and accessible. They will contribute to the success of our website builds and launches while ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients. 

What you’ll do:

• Create sophisticated multi-page web experiences
• Extensive web publishing, including the creation of web graphics
• Proof and review web experiences prior to launch ensuring the highest quality is delivered and ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility of new features
• Responsible for cross-functional distribution and publishing of web experiences
• Responsible for front-end development in a controlled environment. 
• Write custom HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript 
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using web development best practices
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Work with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Remain up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
